Before I can begin menu planning, it is necessary for me to know what you would like to spend on the food for your event. A price quote will take into consideration the menu selection, ingredient costs and preparation time. I take pride in providing an innovative and custom-designed menu within your budget requirements. We can work together on menu ideas if you are unsure of what you would like to spend.

Anticipated food budget:

The cost of rental equipment and service personnel is in addition to food cost and chef fees. The actual cost of your event will be determined once a menu is formalized and additional costs such as rental items and service personnel are considered.

Deposit: In order to secure your event date and begin the menu planning process, a deposit of $200 is required. An invoice with the remaining balance will be presented the day of your event. Full payment is requested on event day.

Bartending: Due to my liability insurance, Nutmeg Kitchens cannot purchase or serve alcoholic beverages. The client is responsible for the purchasing and serving of alcohol or hiring a bartending service or professional server to do so.

Service Staff: For events of 10 or more guests, Nutmeg Kitchens recommends hiring service personnel to assist with plating, serving, bartending and clean up. I can recommend a number of conscientious, reliable, friendly service professionals and will make scheduling arrangements. The client is responsible for the payment of service personnel. Service personnel rates range from $25 to $30 per hour per person. Though not expected, a gratuity is always appreciated when exceptional service is provided.
